Porsche 917K.

This Salzburg-liveried Porsche 917K (Kurzheck, or “short-tail”) gave Porsche their first 24 Hours of Le Mans win in 1970, with Richard Attwood and Hans Hermann at the wheel. Powered by the mighty Type 912, flat-12, 4.5 litre engine, it… okay, enough trivia. We photographed the car in one day and used the shots to create this illustration. Prints have been committed to paper and a 4.5m (see what we did there) vinyl now adorns one very lucky little chap’s playroom.
